Dreiling/Schmidt Cancer Institute

Cancer Support Group and Education Programs

What:

The cancer support group is for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer and family members currently dealing with cancer.  When you attend a support program, you have the opportunity to ask questions and talk with others dealing with similar issues.  The informal education portion is designed to aid in your coping and recovery process.  You will also have an opportunity to meet other cancer survivors and their support person or caregiver.

Who:

Anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer.  You are also invited to bring one support person or caregiver with you.

Time:

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Charlene Weigel, LMSW (licensed master social work)
