Remember that Nursing Facility admission staff can attend the first half of the morning to understand the CARE/PASRR process.  They will not be called assessors or receive certificates.

Nursing Facility Directors of Nursing, Social Workers, or those with appropriate college degrees can complete the entire morning session and receive the certificate.

You may attend the training at the location that best fits your schedule regardless of where you reside in the state.

Current assessors can attend part of the morning if they have Level II issues, or the afternoon for coding clarification and other issues.  If there are assessors that are not getting the assessment done well, they are encouraged to come and bring their existing manuals.

NF staff can attend the morning and bring existing materials.  New materials will only be given to people that do not have access to any materials.  There have been no changes in written materials since March 2009 other than updated version of the Level II letters.
