Description of Benefits / Services
Money for home repair to remove health and/or safety hazards in the home. Up to $7,500 available. Grants available to persons 62 and older. Low interest loans available to all persons.
Requirements
- Income limits are flexible and are based on a family budget.
- Ability to repay must be demonstrated before loan is given.
- Older persons whose income is too low to repay a loan may be eligible for a grant.
- Grants are considered as a lien on the property if sold within a certain period of time.
